When to use the DASH

The DASH sets out the information that is required to accompany a development application to address the relevant objectives and controls in the DCP.

Knowing ahead what plans and reports need to be submitted with your development application can make the process smoother and assessment quicker.

View the matrixes below to find your development type. The matrixes are categorised into

Based on the development you are proposing, use the relevant matrix to find the list of supporting documentation you must provide with your application. The list will also include possible other documentation requirements depending on the location of the development (for instance, if the property is in a heritage or flood prone area, then additional reports will be needed).

The DASH will further guide you on what level of information is needed in each plan / report, and who may prepare each document if a professional is required.

DA Lodgement Requirements

When lodging your development application you will be required to submit supporting documentation. We have created checklists to help you identify what supporting documentation must be provided with your application. Depending on your location and the development complexity, additional documentation may be required.

Development types have been categorised into three categories: Residential, Business/Other and Ancillary.

Find your development type in the drop-down boxes below, which will then show a list of the mandatory required documentation. Download the relevant checklist to view a complete list of possible documentation that may also be required, as well as chapters in this DCP that can be referenced.
